Performance Pulse Week 8/4/25

Your Monday hit of strength, strategy, and self-leadership — in under 3 minutes.

🧠 Mindset Shift

“Your results are the lagging indicator of your inputs.”
Strength, success, and even confidence are all built through consistent inputs—not quick fixes. Train your patience like you train your body. The progress you want is achievable. Someone else has most likely done it before you and someone else will do it after, but it all comes the same way. Daily consistent actions. They don’t need to be sweeping lifestyle changes. Small things that stack on each other to build something amazing.

💪 Training Tool

Creatine is the magic pill everyone is looking for.
Everybody wants the magic pill or supplement that achieves their goals for them. While creatine doesn’t do this, it gets close. From body composition to performance to brain cognition it’s turning into as much of a magic pill that we are going to get for the time being. Of course diet and exercise are needed along with consistent supplementation. This is also not medical advice and you should consult with a doctor and do your own research before taking. It is one of the few supplements I recommend to all my clients that they look into adding to their routine.

💭 Recent Thought

To quote Alex Hormozi:

“You have to learn to do things you hate in order to do the things you love.

No payoffs come without sacrifice.

📸 Personal Snapshot

This past week was a deload for marathon training and it was a little bit of struggle doing less than I felt like I should be doing.
Lesson: Progress doesn’t always come in the form of doing more. More isn’t always better. Better is always better. Sometimes that involves actually doing less so you can perform better.
